Pat’s Tavern in Mooresville: Hot Times in the Old Town Tonight

Pat’s Tavern is in Central Indiana‘s Mooresville, a smallish Indianapolis suburb less than ten miles southeast of the Circle City.

Along with the Route 67 Bar and Grill, Pat’s Tavern is one of the Mooresville ambassadors for greater Indianapolis nightlife, sponsoring a good rotating roster of popular Indianapolis bands. The place rocks out to the likes of the Stoned Circle Band, the Lit Endz Band, Hazlewood, the Juke Joint Band, the Midwest Music Conspiracy and Southern Bridges on Saturdays, when you’re invited to come join the fun.

Ever think about getting your hands on a microphone and jumping on the stage? On Fridays, try the Karaoke Night with Jodi, while you determine if Pat’s Tavern still has the coldest beers in town.We dare ya.

Here’s a great video of the Lit Endz band performing at Pat’s Tavern in Mooresville. Have a look/listen.

Pat’s Tavern has been around for generations. During the 1960′s, it was owned by a man named Keller, who gave it the auspicious name “Keller’s Tavern.” Here you see an old photo of the way the Mooresville bar looked then.
